Lip Augmentation

http://www.imageclinic.org/lip-reduction.html
Many men and women undergo lip augmentation to increase the size of the upper and/or lower lips. However, there are some people out there that feel that their lips are too large. Individuals that have large lips may feel self-conscious about their appearance. What many of these people do not know is that there is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is designed to bring down the size of the lips so they are in proportion with the rest of your face.

Candidates for lip reduction surgery include patients that have naturally large lips. It can also be performed on patients that are unhappy with the results of a permanent lip augmentation procedure done in the past. In addition, patients should be in good health, and not smoke cigarettes for a month before and after surgery.

For most patients, the lip reduction procedure is performed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Surgery may be performed under general anesthesia if you are undergoing multiple procedures, or if you feel more comfortable being unconscious during your procedure. During treatment, the plastic surgeon creates a horizontal incision on the inside of the lip. The surgeon then removes excess fat and tissue from the lip before closing the incision with stitches. The lip reduction procedure can be performed on the upper and lower lip to improve the patient’s appearance and balance out facial features.

About Cheek Augmentation

http://imageclinic.org/cheek-augmentation.html

Who Needs Cheek Augmentation?

The cheeks are one of the three main landmarks of the face: chin, nose, and cheeks. When one of these is out of proportion, the entire facial structure may seem unbalanced. Cheek augmentation can correct this imbalance if you have shallow cheekbones. This may be the result of heredity or the re-absorption of bone tissue that occurs with aging. Candidates for cheek augmentation will likely have a flat, hollow look about their cheeks and often the eyes, which are better defined with higher, more prominent cheek bones.

An ideal candidate for cheek augmentation is in good physical health, is psychologically stable, and has a desire to add definition to the upper face. Prospective patients should have a clear understanding of the healing process, the limitations of the cheek augmentation procedure, and realistic expectations for their desired results. Finally, you should discuss your known allergies with your plastic surgeon to ensure the implant material is safe for you to use.

About Cheek Implants

Today’s range of cheek implants includes many different sizes and shapes so there is one out there for just about any type of facial structure.  The implants are inserted through a small incision inside the mouth.

One alternative treatment to cheek implants is facial fillers, an injectable treatment that provides volume on a temporary basis (JuvedermVoluma, Radiesse, or fat injections). If you’re considering cheek implants but nervous to head straight for surgery, facial fillers offer a fairly inexpensive way to “test drive” your new cheeks. Talk to your facial plastic surgeon about creating the results you might expect from surgery so you can get a good feeling for what may lie ahead.

Lip Reduction Surgery

http://imageclinic.org/lip-reduction.html

A noticeably plumper and fuller pout is certainly something that women can boast of. But bigger is ‘not’ always better, when it comes to the size of lips. There are lots of people who consider their lips way too bigger than average and it actually makes them look ugly. For them, the lip reduction surgery can be a savior. Here are all that you need to know about it:

 What is Lip Reduction Surgery?

Lip reduction surgery, also medically termed as cheiloplasty, is a cosmetic surgical procedure in which the look of unusually big and fat or protruding lips is made better by decreasing the size of one lip or both lips and creating an artificial angle or tip with the help of a piece of healthy tissue taken from an adjacent body part.

How Does It Work?

At first, a small incision is made along the length of the upper lip or both lips (as required). It is usually created on the inner side of the mouth.
Then, a layer of excess skin and tissue is taken out as well as discarded very carefully.
Finally, the incision is closed with sutures.
It takes only 45 minutes to 1 hour to be completed.

Ideal Candidates

To be the best candidate for the lip reduction surgery, you must be in good physical and mental health. You should also not have smoking habit, skin disorder, infection, keloid scar and active cold sore.

Results

1.Your extra large upper lip is reduced to a great extent and you can see the result almost immediately after the surgery.
2.It needs at least 3 months to see the final outcomes of the procedure.

Forehead Lift Surgery

http://imageclinic.org/forehead-lift-surgery.html

Forehead Lift

Also known as forehead lift or browplasty. It is not uncommon for the skin above the eyes to start to droop as one gets older, causing what is often referred to as the hood effect, and this make eyes look tired and the face look old. Also known as a “Forehead Lift”, Brow lift surgery is a simple procedure carried out to lift the area directly above the eye, opening up the eye area and making the face look younger. It involves lifting the brow itself and tightening the muscles which have been stretched over time. Also, it tightens any loose skin in the area and reduces excess fatty tissue. While brow lift surgery is often performed for purely cosmetic reasons, drooping brows and upper eye lids can affect vision in the most extreme of cases and this can be a quick and simple way to rectify the situation.

Procedure
The brow lift operation is performed under general anesthesia. There are two types of brow lift surgery (outlined below). The one chosen by the surgeon depends on the type of the skin, the condition of the skin and where the hairline is.

Open Brow Lift (Classic Lift)
The surgeon makes an incision from one ear, along or slightly back from the hairline to the other ear. Depending on where the hair line is, the surgeon works to avoid a visible scar. For bald patients or those with a receding hair line, the incision can usually be hidden in a natural forehead crease. Once the incision has been made the surgeon will carefully separate the skin on the upper part of the face from the underlying tissue before working to reduce or tighten the muscles. The skin is then stretched and stitched or clipped in place, within any excess skin removed.

Facial Implant India

http://imageclinic.org/facial-implants.html
You may want to enhance certain facial features with permanence, to attain symmetry and balance. Facial Implants can be used in various areas of the face – chin, cheeks, and jawline, to augment and enhance these areas. This procedure is performed with biocompatible solid material, silicone or medpore, to minimize rejection. The exact size and type of facial implants that will best work for you is decided after evaluating your goals, areas that you want to improve and the judgment taken by your surgeon. The primary objective of facial implants is to create proportion and balance

The procedure can be performed as standalone or in tandem with other facial procedures like facelift, skin resurfacing or nose surgery.

Chin Implants – These are recommended for increasing the projection as well as size of the chin that is not in tune with mid face and forehead. A recessed or small chin is often described as the one that gives an illusion of being disappearing into the individuals' neck instead of appearing as a discrete facial feature.

Jaw Implants – This kind of procedure helps in amplifying the width of lower third part of your face. Just like the chin, a weak jaw can be considered as the one that is neither distinct nor well-defined from the neck. As observed in some cases, both jaw and chin can be the reason for facial imbalance.

Cheek Implants – This surgical procedure helps in increasing the projection of your cheekbones. These are simply the right pick for those who want to add volume to the flat or recessed mid-face area.

Facial implants can be performed under local or general anesthesia. The procedure takes 1 to 2 hours depending on the type of facial implant procedure performed. The majority of swelling and bruising may take up to 10 days to subside. Dressings are removed within 24 hours, while the sutures used are absorbable. You can get back to work after 2-3 days but with some bruising and swelling.

Facelift surgery is a much sought after treatment today. It has often been noticed that with the advancement of age or due to mental stress of any sort, the face loses its brightness. If you are seeking to undergo this treatment in India, Image Clinic Group seems to be a very good choice. Right from world-class facilities to very good doctors.

What are the types of Facelift Surgery?

Following are the procedures related to the facelift:

Full Facelift – This procedure involves a tightening of the facial skin around the entire face. A neck lift is performed at the same time to provide facial and neck results that match.

Upper Facelift –This procedure is designed to target the upper half of the face, most notably the cheeks all the way to the jowls.

Lower Face and Neck Lift –This procedure is performed to target the lower third of the face, which includes the jowls and upper neck area. Underlying structures are tightened and excess skin is removed.

Suture Neck Lift –The neck skin is reshaped for a more youthful contour with no skin removal. Dermal collagen strip made from bovine (cow) tissue may be used to suspend the sagging tissues. The bovine filler is eventually replaced by your natural human tissue.

Facelift India

A facelift is a surgical method that removes excess facial skin to make the face appear younger. However, the aging face not only loses skin elasticity and develops looser skin, but also loses fat and muscle tone. Additional procedures that may be necessary to achieve the best results include: necklift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), autologous fat injection, removal of buccal (cheek) fat pad, forehead lift, browlift, chemical or laser peel, and malar (cheek), submalar or chin implants.

How is facelift surgery performed?

A traditional facelift procedure is performed through an incision starting in the hair or hairline above and in front of the ear (the temporal region). The incision is extended downward in front of the ear, comes under the ear and then upward behind the ear ending in the hair or hairline behind the ear. The skin and fatty tissues are then lifted off the underlying muscle and fascia (connective tissue) as far forward as is necessary to correct the loose skin problem. The underlying muscle and fascia can be tightened with sutures if the surgeon feels it is necessary. The skin is pulled back and upward and the excess skin removed. The wound is then closed with sutures and skin staples. Some surgeons leave a drain in the wounds to remove excess blood. Bandages are then applied. There are surgical techniques which go into deeper tissues rather than under the skin and fat. The results are similar.-

1.Facelift surgery helps to make the face appear younger.
2.Results last approximately ten years.
3.Recovery time is usually one week but activities can begin the day after surgery.
4.Pain and discomfort are usually minimal.
5.Additional procedures to supplement the facelift may be necessary for the best results.

Dermabrasion Surgery

Dermabrasion helps to “refinish” the skin’s top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. The treatments soften the sharp edges of surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother appearance.

Dermabrasion is most often used to improve the look of facial skin left scarred by accidents or previous surgery, or to smooth out fine facial wrinkles. It’s also sometimes used to remove the pre-cancerous growths called keratoses. Also commonly used to treat deep acne scars.
Both Dermabrasion and Derma planning can be performed on small areas of skin or on the entire face. They can be used alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as facelift, scar removal or revision, or chemical peel.

Procedure
The areas to be treated are cleaned and marked. A local anesthetic is usually used to numb the skin before treatment, and ice packs are applied to the skin for up to 30 minutes. A freezing (cryogenic) spray may sometimes be used to harden the skin for deeper abrasions if the anesthetic and ice packs do not make the skin firm enough.

Focus Areas

Dermabrasion is used to treat damage and defects in the upper layers of the skin.

.Acne scars: Removing and improving the appearance of acne scars are the most common uses for dermabrasion.

.Scars caused by surgery or trauma, if they are not deep.

.Superficial skin growths, such as Rhinophyma. On rare occasions, dermabrasion may be used to treat small cysts, epidermal nevi, some basal cell skin cancers, or Bowen’s disease.
.Tattoos
.Color changes in the skin (Solar Lentigines or Melasma).
.Fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

Hair loss Treatments

http://imageclinic.org/hair-transplant.html

Hair loss is primarily caused by a combination of aging, a change in hormones and a family history of baldness. As a rule, the earlier hair loss begins, the more severe the baldness will become. Hair loss can also be caused by burns or trauma, in which case hair replacement surgery is considered a reconstructive treatment. Hair Transplant can be performed on the scalp, the beard, eyebrows and mustache area. Hair replacement surgery can enhance your appearance and your self-confidence.

The most popular Hair transplant techniques are FUE and strip grafts. These are generally performed on patients who desire a more modest change in hair fullness. Individual grafts are placed where there is thinning or absence of hair. Hair replacement candidates must have healthy hair growth at the back and sides of the head to serve as donor areas. Donor areas are the places on the head from which grafts are taken.

Flaps, tissue-expansion and scalp-reduction are procedures that are usually more appropriate for patients who desire a more dramatic change. This creates a fuller hair appearance by moving or reducing the scalp. Remember, there are limits to what can be accomplished. An individual with very little hair might not be advised to undergo hair replacement surgery.

Hair loss, or alopecia, is a common problem that affects both men and women and can be caused by stress, diseases, some medical treatments and genes. While some of these factors are temporary or can be reversed, many suffer permanent hair loss that can lead to self-confidence issues. Hair transplantation surgery can help men and women suffering from baldness or thinning hair.

FUE Hair Transplant

http://imageclinic.org/hair-transplant.html

FUE Hair Transplant Procedure

Follicular Unit Extraction, or FUE, involves removing healthy hair follicles directly from a donor area on the scalp (usually at the back of the head where the hair is plentiful) and grafting them onto the bald or thinning areas.

The treatment is carried out under local rather than general anaesthetic, eliminating risks and downtime associated with other hair transplant procedures. And, because the treatment is minimally invasive, there is no detectable scarring and, in most cases, patients are able to return to work the next day with permanent results.

The method uses a specialised punch device, ranging in diameter from 0.6mm - 0.9mm, to extract follicular units complete with neccessary glands. This seperates surrounding tissue from the unit, meaning minimum trauma and better results, as well as minimal risk of any detectable scarring. Hair Transplantation of all the vital elements of each hair follicle means a better survival rate and better growth. The treatment is performed under a high powered microscope using specialy designed instruments, allowing the surgeon to work with the upmost precision for natural-looking, undetectable results.

Advantages of having your FUE Hair Transplant :

1.You will be treated by highly experienced Doctors. Our Hair Transplant surgeons are specialised in FUE and treat hundreds of patients every year.
2.FUE is a minimally invasive treatment, carried out under local anaesthetic - many patients either watch TV, or even fall asleep during the procedure.
3.Unlike the Strip (FUT) procedure, you won't require any stitches after your treatment. This means that the recovery time is also reduced when compared to the Strip surgery.

Fact About Nose Surgery

http://imageclinic.org/nose-surgery.html
Nose Surgery
For patients who are unhappy with the appearance of their nose, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) offers an effective surgical treatment option. As the nose is the most prominent facial feature, rhinoplasty can work to both enhance facial harmony and restore confidence. Before you decide that rhinoplasty is the right choice for you, take a look at some facts about this procedure you may not have known about.

5 Fact About Rhinoplasty

1.It’s not just a cosmetic procedure. While rhinoplasty is often performed for purely cosmetic reasons, it has functional applications as well. This procedure can correct breathing problems brought on by a deviated septum, nasal birth defect or injury, the narrowing or collapse of the nostrils and more.

2.Rhinoplasty is customized to meet the needs of each patient. Rhinoplasty is not simply a one-size-fits-all procedure. As patients seek rhinoplasty for a variety of different reasons, each procedure is catered to the unique goals and needs of each individual patient.

3.It’s one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the india. This makes it the second most popular cosmetic procedure in the entire country, only after breast augmentation.

4.There are different rhinoplasty techniques. The close rhinoplasty procedure is performed via internal incisions, meaning that there are no external scars following surgery. In an open rhinoplasty, your surgeon will make an additional incision in the columella, the column that separates the nostrils. Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages, and your surgeon will decide which is best for you.

5.Other parts of the body can be used. While implants may sometimes be used during rhinoplasty, plastic surgeons will often use grafts, or skin or cartilage from other areas of the body.

Image clinic offer all types of cosmetic treatments like Neck Lift, facelift, nose surgery, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, Chin Augmentation, Cheek Augmentation, Hair Transplant , Beard Transplant , Scalp Reduction, Forehead Lift, Facial Implants, Ear Surgery (Otoplasty), Lip reduction, Blepheroplasty , are available all under one roof, to improve , enhance or just rejuvenation your image. Cost Of facelift Surgery

http://imageclinic.org/face-lift.html

A facelift is a surgical method that removes excess facial skin to make the face appear younger. However, the aging face not only loses skin elasticity and develops looser skin, but also loses fat and muscle tone. Additional procedures that may be necessary to achieve the best results include: necklift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), liposuction, autologous fat injection, removal of buccal (cheek) fat pad, forehead lift, browlift, chemical or laser peel, and malar (cheek), submalar or chin implants.

The skin and fatty tissues are then lifted off the underlying muscle and fascia (connective tissue) as far forward as is necessary to correct the loose skin problem

The results are similar.

Rhinoplasty Benefits

http://imageclinic.org/nose-surgery.html

Rhinoplasty – The “Nose Job

The rhinoplasty procedure is more often known as a “Nose Job” and is one of the most common plastic surgeries practiced. Rhinoplasty is surgery which reshapes the nose; it can reduce or increase the size, alter the shape of the tip or bridge and the span of the nostrils, as well as change the angle between the nose and upper lip. Nose reshaping allows you to adjust the appearance and or function of your nose through the reshaping of the soft tissue, cartilage and bone already present. The surgery can be as general or specific as you want, depending on how you want to change your nose.

Benefits Of Rhinoplasty

1 — Breathe Easy There’s a reason there is such a high market demand for products that help people breathe better. Breathing problems are a common complaint among a high percentage of people these days. Whether a mild case or more severe, notbeing able to breathe correctly can be a frustrating and downright scary issue to face.   The most common type of procedure to help patients breathe easier is septoplasty. Most people have at least heard of a deviated septum, but many people don’t even realize they have one. Or if they do they may not realize the extent or how much better their breathing could be if they had corrective surgery. If you want to improve your airflow, rhinoplasty for a deviated septum could help you.

2 — Sleep Better  Many people suffer with sleep issues related to breathing problems. Some of these issues can be as severe as sleep apnea. Sleep apnea can cause people’s airways to actually be blocked or closed up and can lead to various health problems. There are methods of treatment these sufferers may use at home, but in some cases, revision or corrective rhinoplasty may be the best alternative. By working with a trained and certified plastic surgeon, you can have your nasal passageways “redesigned” to help alleviate much of the breathing issues that cause sleep issues.

Facelift Surgery

http://imageclinic.org/face-lift.html

Face lift surgery is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures we perform. A face lift usually takes several hours or more. The exact placement of incisions and the sequence of events depend on your facial structure and your surgeon’s technique. Incisions usually begin above the hairline at the temples, extend in a natural line in front of the ear (or just inside the cartilage at the front of the ear), and continue behind the ear lobe to the lower scalp. If the neck needs work, a small incision may also be made under the chin.

In general, the surgeon separates the skin from the fat and muscle below. Fat may be trimmed or suctioned from around the neck and chin to improve the contour. The surgeon then tightens the underlying muscle and membrane, pulls the skin back, and removes the excess. Stitches secure the layers of tissue and close the incisions; metal clips may be used on the scalp.

Pre-Operative

You should come to the consultation prepared to discuss your medical history. This will include information about any medical conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments you have received, pregnancies, previous surgeries and medications that you currently take.

In evaluating you for face lift surgery, your plastic surgeon will assess the thickness, texture and elasticity of your skin, and the severity of wrinkles and folds. Your hairline will be examined to determine where incisions can be discreetly placed. All of these factors, as well as your bone structure and underlying tissues, will be considered in developing an individual surgical plan.

Your plastic surgeon may discuss with you additional procedures that can be performed along with a face lift in order to address all the concerns you have identified. For example, a face lift is frequently combined with a forehead lift, eyelid surgery, nose reshaping, etc. If you are overweight and you have a realistic desire to lose more than 15 pounds, you should discuss this with your surgeon.

Below are important points that you need to consider before undergoing any surgery:

1.Stop smoking well in advance of surgery. 2.Stop taking Aspirin, herbal or diet supplements and certain anti-inflammatory drugs at least 2 weeks as taking these substances can cause increased bleeding. 3.Do not eat nor drink anything at least 6 – 8 hours before surgery. 4.Use antibacterial soap and allow the soap lather to cover the skin of the surgical area for 10 minutes on the night before your surgery and in the morning of your surgery.

A face lift restores smoother, more pleasing contours to your face and neck. It can help you look as good as you feel and perhaps feel younger than you are. The results of your face lift may be dramatic or subtle, depending on how you look before surgery as well as the specific goals that you and your plastic surgeon have established. Since the healing process is gradual, you should expect to wait at least several weeks for an accurate picture of your “new look“.
